The 2022 USATF U20 Outdoor Championships scheduled for June 23-25, 2022 will serve as the selection event for U20 athletes for the 2022 World Athletics U20 Championships. All athletes are required to complete Team Processing in order to be eligible for selection to a 2022 USATF National Team. Athletes who fail to complete Team Processing during the timeframes listed below will forfeit their rank for selection to the 2022 World Athletics U20 Championships national team. The 2022 World Athletics U20 Championships will take place August 1-6, 2022 in Cali, Colombia. Please review the full selection procedures here. Athletes should bring the following to Team Processing:
*Athletes must have a current passport good for at least six (6) months after the return date from the National Team event.
Athletes will be directed by a 2022 National Team staff member to the Team Processing area located in Playwrights Hall of The Graduate located at 66 E. 6th Avenue, Eugene, OR 97401. Athletes must report to the Team Processing area immediately after the final of their event.

Reminder: Without exception, those not completing Team Processing will not be eligible for selection to the 2022 World Athletics U20 Championships national team. Again, in the interest of completing the process as efficiently as possible, athletes should report immediately following the final of their event. The entire process for is approximately 1.5 hours.
Athletes MUST bring passports to Team Processing. USATF National Office is primarily responsible for athlete travel for the World Athletics U20 Championships team. Athletes will not travel as a Team to the World Athletics U20 Championships. At Team Processing, USATF will book the athlete's ticket and USATF will pay for a roundtrip ticket from the athlete's home city to Cali, Colombia and back to the athlete's home city.
The local organizing committees (LOC) for this national team competition may make available to Team USATF personal coach credentials. Accordingly, personal coaches interested in receiving these credentials should attend Team Processing with their athlete. In order for USATF to apply to the LOC on behalf of a personal coach for credentialing, the personal coach MUST (a) be the coach of record for an athlete selected to a USATF National team and (b) be a member of the USATF Coaches Registry.
