Mikinski is a former World Record Holder in the pentathlon high jump (6’-4 ¼”) and American Record holder in the Heptathlon High Jump. A Kansas State University Hall of Fame inductee, Gwen was a two-time National Champion with a best of 6’5”. She was the assistant coach of jumps and multi-events at the 2012 Olympic Games and most recently coached for Team USA at the 2018 World Indoor Championships and lead the NACAC Combined Events Championships.
