Emerging Elite Coaches Camp

The Emerging Elite Coaches Camp is a prestigious four-day camp traditionally held at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center. The specialty course is designed for serious minded coaches seeking advanced information, strategies, and tactics with an eye towards developing national and international, medal-winning athletes. Participants will learn from a team of USATF Master Coaches, sport scientists, and guest lecturers.

• Jumps/Combined Events
• Throws

Requirements

All applicants must be USATF Coaches Registry members and meet at least one of the following criteria: 

1. Primary technical coach of a state high school association, collegiate, or USATF Championship qualifier
   
   OR
    

2. Previous experience as an elite athlete or staff coach on a USATF National Team
   
   OR 
    

3. Hold an upper-level USATF or USTFCCCA coaching education certificate in event discipline seeking entry

Recertification

No recertification requirements are currently in effect for USATF Specialist certificate holders (subject to change).
