USA Track & Field has announced a roster of 12 athletes set to represent the U.S. at the 2024 IAU 100K World Championships, set to take place in Bengaluru, India on December 7.
USATF found success at the last edition of the Championships held in Berlin, Germany in 2022 as the women’s team took gold overall, defeating the French team by two minutes. Courtney Olsen, who led the 2022 team to victory with her fourth-place finish, will return alongside 2022 teammates Nicole Monette and Elizabeth Northern to defend their title in Bengaluru. Two men from the Berlin team, Geoff Burns and Kris Brown, will return to the Championships looking to improve on the team’s 13th-place finish.
