As a part of the USATF Week of Thanks campaign, we are spotlighting some of USATF's most dedicated members with a short feature (Humans of New York-style) on USATF.org and our social media accounts. Here is our third feature with 96-year-old masters athlete Betty Lindberg from Chamblee, Georgia and a member of the Georgia Association’s Atlanta Track Club. “When I was 91, I set the world record in the 800m. Since then, I have done the USATF Masters Indoor Championships where I set a record in the mile, as well as winning the USATF Masters 5km Championship on the road. This summer, I participated in every event of the Masters Summer Virtual Challenge. I started running when I was 63 and I have been doing it ever since. And I hope I can keep going some more! In challenging times I say to myself ‘Just keep moving. You've got to keep moving! You can't slow down.’”
