INDIANAPOLIS -- Continuing its landmark deal with NBC Sports Group, USA Track & Field released the 2019 USATF Indoor and Outdoor Championship Series broadcast and streaming schedule today, featuring more than 50 hours of live event coverage for premier U.S. meets.
Coverage kicks off January 26 with live action from the Dr. Norb Sander Invitational on USATF.TV and NBC Sports Gold, followed by the New Balance Indoor Boston Grand Prix on NBCSN. The historic NYRR Millrose Games will air live February 9 on NBC. Capping off the domestic indoor schedule, the USATF Indoor Championships head to New York with live coverage from Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex, February 23-24, where fans can watch the nation’s best indoor athletes on NBCSN.
The Outdoor Championship Series will commence with the iconic Penn Relays and USA vs. The World, April 26-27, followed by the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa. The Nike Prefontaine Classic will be live on NBC Sunday, June 30. The broadcast schedule peaks with four consecutive days of coverage at the USATF Outdoor Championships at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, where Team USATF’s roster for the 2019 IAAF World Outdoor Championships will be selected.
In addition to broadcast coverage, all events will be available on NBC Sports Gold.
USATF.TV’s post-event highlights show, The Cool Down, returns for a sixth season in 2019. The online broadcast features exclusive athlete interviews and behind-the-scenes content.
