Athletes' Commission

Our Mission

To communicate the interests, protect, and further the rights and privileges of USA Track & Field athletes.

The Athletes' Commission (AC) collaborates with the sport committees of USA Track & Field (USATF) and encourages the direction and decision-making of the USATF National Office. The athletes the AC represents are defined in Section 3 of our Operating Regulations. In short, they are:

1. International Athletes, defined as any athlete who has represented the United States in international competition held under the jurisdiction of Athletics (not including World Youth or World Masters events) within the preceding 10 years OR who has, in the preceding 24 months, placed in the top half of national open championships events the AC has specifically designated.
2. Or, Active Athletes, defined as any individual who is actively engaged in Athletics or who is an International Athlete.

The AC would like to keep you informed on the work its leaders are doing on your behalf. Please fill out the form above. You will then be sent an invitation to join the AC “Slack” Team. Slack is an app for your phone or computer that the AC is using to communicate with the athletes on a regular basis.
