The area is serviced by the Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV) which is located on the northeast side of Gainesville, just five minutes from the heart of downtown, 15 minutes from the University of Florida, 10.6 miles from US Interstate 75 and 11.7 miles to the Alachua County Sports and Events Center and most hotels.

Gainesville Regional Airport has 16 daily departures, serviced by Delta and American Airlines with non-stop service to international hubs of Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas/Fort Worth and Miami.  The airport is serviced by Gainesville Regional Transit System (RTS), providing a route available Monday – Friday, running every 60-70 minutes, in addition to Uber, Lyft, Sidecar, and taxi service.
