2026 USATF NATIONAL Junior Olympic Cross-Country Championships Progression

Ready to compete? Here’s how to make your way to the 2026 USATF National Junior Olympic Cross-Country Championships:

1. Before You Compete • Be a current USATF member • Be date of birth verified
2. Compete at Your Association Championship Your Association sets its championship date, registration deadlines, and qualifying procedures. Contact your USATF Association for details.
3. Advance to the Regional Championship Qualify through your Association Championship to compete at the Regional Championships. The top 30 individuals in each age division and the top five scoring teams advance to Nationals.
4. Advance to Nationals Qualify at the Regional Championships and advance to the USATF National Junior Olympic Cross-Country Championships in Lafayette, Louisiana. Regional-to-National advancement is governed by USATF Rule 306.3. We hope to see you in Lafayette!
