Combined Events Tour Prize Money

USA Athletes can double dip both National Championships Prize Money and the Combined Events Tour Prize Money.

Guest Competitors

For non-USA athletes, please email: highperformance@usatf.org to enter the Indoor Combined Events Championships. Please include your marks within the Qualifying Window: January 1, 2025 — February 15, 2026.

Minimum Standards

  • Men's Heptathlon: 5450 (7300 - Dec)
  • Women's Pentathlon: 3900 (5300 - Hep)

There is a target Field Size of 12 USA athletes. Any non-USA athletes will not displace USA athletes, but be added to the field.

TRAVEL FUNDING

An allocation of funds ($1,000) will be provided to the following athletes:

  1. Defending USATF Indoor Champion in each event, if entered, qualified, and declared.

  2. The top three (3) ranked indoor performers during the qualifying window (January 1, 2025 – February 15, 2026)

  3. 2026 USATF Tier and TPP athletes

In order to be eligible for the USATF Indoor Championships travel allocations, an athlete must be a current USATF member in good standing; must have entered and achieved qualifying mark between January 1, 2025 – February 15, 2026  (qualifying deadline); and must be a citizen of the United States of America who is eligible to represent the U.S. in international competition. Dual Citizens, please take note.

Pole Vault Transfer

It is recommended to ship pole vault poles directly to:

USATF will provide airport pick-up at Indianapolis International Airport (IND) for vaulting poles beginning Thursday, February 19, 2026.  To qualify for this service, athletes must complete the Pole Vault Transport Declaration Form by Monday, February 9, 2026. This form will contain the athletes’, or responsible parties’, arrival and departure information. Any unclaimed poles will be the responsibility and cost of the athlete.

Representatives from USATF will pick up poles on a rotating schedule from the airport and the Indiana State Fairgrounds on the following days

  • Thursday, February 19
  • Friday, February 20

*Please allow up to 3 hours from your landing time for poles to arrive at the Indiana State Fairgrounds

Alternate arrangements for pole transfer will need to be made by the athlete for the following reasons:

  • You require your poles in a shorter amount of time than 3 hours
  • Your flight arrives before 6:00 a.m. or after 8:00 p.m. on Thursday or Friday.
    • PLEASE NOTE: Staff will track flights and remain late with flight number in case of weather delays
  • Your flight departs after 9:00 p.m. on Sunday or before 9:00 a.m. on Monday

Instructions for using the Pole Vault Transfer Service

  • Fill out Pole Vault Transport Declaration Form before Monday, February 9 at 8:00 p.m. ET
  • Upon arrival at Indianapolis International Airport (IND) and with poles in hand, please call High Performance Programs Manager Jordan Testerman at (317) 713-4655. Then walk your poles to the arrivals curb and USATF staff will quickly meet you to assist with loading and transporting your poles to the event facility.
  • Upon arriving at Indiana State Fairgrounds, your poles will be located at the pole vault runway area
  • ANY TRAVEL DAY OF CHALLENGES, flight changes or meet week questions please contact Jordan Testerman or (317) 713 - 4655
  • USATF will create a departure sheet and communicate information to you or your agent/manager/coach with your departure plan back to the airport
