Pole Vault Transfer Information

It is recommended to ship pole vault poles directly to:

Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex

The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) will provide airport pick-up at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) for vaulting poles beginning Thursday, February 26, 2026.  To qualify for this service, athletes must complete the Pole Vault Pick Up Declaration Form by Wednesday, February 18, 2026. This form will contain the athletes , or responsible parties, arrival and departure information. The LOC will then also arrange for poles to be returned to Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex for departure, if the athlete chooses. Any unclaimed poles will be the responsibility and cost of the athlete.

Representatives from the LOC will pick up poles on a rotating schedule from the airport and Ocean Breeze on the following days:

  • Thursday, February 26
  • Friday, February 27

*Please allow up to 5 hours from your landing time for poles to arrive at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex

Alternate arrangements for pole transfer will need to be made by the athlete for the following reasons:

  • You require your poles in a shorter amount of time than 5 hours
  • Your flight arrives to the LaGuardia before 8:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m. on Thursday or Friday.
    • PLEASE NOTE: Staff will track flights and remain late with flight number in case of all weather delays
  • Your flight departs LaGuardia Airport before 9:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m. on Sunday or Monday 

Instructions for using the Pole Vault Transfer Service

  • Fill out Pole Vault Pick Up Declaration Form before Wednesday, February 18 at  6:00 p.m. ET.
  • Upon arrival at LaGuardia Airport and with poles in hand, text PV Coordinator Adrian Campbell at (773) 505-3720, then walk poles to curb and you will be met quickly by USA Indoor Championship Staff to assist with loading and transport to Ocean Breeze.
  • The athlete must sign the Pole Declaration List located at the round visitor information desk. Please be sure to fill out when you plan to arrive at the airport for your departure.
  • Upon arriving at Ocean Breeze, your poles will be located behind the bleachers closest to roll-up door E.
  • ANY TRAVEL DAY OF CHALLENGES, flight changes or meet week questions please contact Adrian Campbell, Pole Vault Coordinator, at (773) 505-3720 or adrian_campbell21@yahoo.com
  • Adrian and his staff will create a departure sheet and communicate information to you or your agent/manager/coach with your pole departure/drop off plan back to LGA Airport.
