Matthew Knight Arena 1390 Villard St Eugene, OR 97403 Beginning Tuesday, July 4 at 12:00 PM, Hayward Field will be a credentialed facility during practice hours. Athletes and coaches must have their credentials to enter the facility.

Registered Coach (“RC”) and Registered Medical Provider (“RMP”) (collectively “Support”), and the Authorized Athlete Representative (“AAR”) credentials are designed to allow an athlete’s coach and/or personal support access to specified areas that may include the stadium, warm-up area, and/or practice track for the purpose of preparing for competition and access to seating in the competition venue in order to support your athlete. Credentials are non-transferrable, and each support person will only be allowed to receive a maximum of one credential per category.
Individual must be 18 years of age or older to be listed as a Support person.
Individual must be a current (2023) member of USA Track & Field.
Individual receiving the Registered Coach (“RC”) credential must also be a current (2023) member of USA Track & Field’s Coaches Registry Program, which includes completing an accepted Education Standard option. **View the Registered Coach section below for more information on the application process.
Individuals receiving the Registered Medical Provider (“RMP”) credential must be a current (2023) member of the USATF Medical Provider Registry which includes passing the NCSI medical licensure screen. **View the Registered Medical Provider section below for more information on the process for receiving this credential.
Authorized Athlete Representative (“AAR”) must be a current (2023) Authorized Athlete Representative, and in good standing with all USATF authorized athlete representative requirements.
Credentials can be obtained at the Accreditation Center on-site for the following events:
2023 Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships and 2023 USATF U20 Championships
Athletes will have the option to designate one (1) complimentary credential per Support category listed below by specifying the membership number of the qualified individual designated to receive that option on his or her online registration (entry form). After the declaration window has expired, changes must be made on-site at the athlete accreditation check-in table. Only athletes are able to designate Support on-site.
Registered Coach*, “RC” (complimentary)

*Each athlete upon checking in will be provided one coaching box pass, that will grant access to the stadium, to be given to either their designated Registered Coach or Registered Medical Provider. Coaching boxes have been designated around Hayward Field for working coaches to use during their athlete’s competition only. Access to this area is provided with a “Coach” credential and a coaching box pass which will be provided to the competing athlete during check-in at Call Room 1.
All coaches designated to receive a “RC” credential must be USATF 3-Step Safe Sport Compliant, meet the USATF Education Standard, and be specified on the athlete's entry form in advance or added (by athlete) late on-site. Individuals must have a green (current) status on USATF Connect under the Memberships, Center for SafeSport Training, Background Screening, and Coach Certifications tabs through the last date of competition. A requirement marked “Pending Approval” does not qualify as current. Please allow 10 business days for new/renewal screenings to complete. Personal Support designated to receive a “RMP” credential must be USATF 3-Step Safe Sport Compliant, pass the NCSI medical licensure screen, and be specified on the athlete's entry form prior to the close of entries or added (by athlete) late on-site. Only the individuals specified by participating athletes for this purpose will be allowed to receive a “RMP” credential. Only individuals with an RMP credential will be allowed to perform manual therapies inside of the facility. You will not have the option to sign up for the USATF Medical Provider Registry after the close of entries to obtain a medical credential.
Personal support designated to receive a “AAR” credential must be USATF 3-Step Safe Sport Compliant, a current (2023) Authorized Athlete Representative, and in good standing with all USATF Authorized Athlete Representative requirements. You must already be an Authorized Athlete Representative at this time to obtain a “AAR” credential.

The 2023 USATF U20 Outdoor Championships and 2023 Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships is a controlled access event. Starting Tuesday, July 4, until the end of competition on Sunday, July 9, credentials must be worn for admittance into the venue.
Athletes must appear as “qualified” or “accepted” and “declared” on the “Status of Entries” page of the USATF website in order to receive a credential.
All athlete Support persons must be designated as athlete support persons by an athlete who is “qualified” or “accepted” and “declared” per the “Status of Entries” page.
All individuals will be required to show a photo ID to pick up their credentials.
