The registration deadline for the USATF National Youth Indoor Championships is approaching. All athlete entries must be submitted before Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 10:00 PM (EDT). All below information can be found in the 2023 Youth Indoor Championships Passport.
The 2023 USATF Youth Indoor Championships is open to 2023 USATF members who fall within the youth age divisions listed below. Athletes can join USATF by visiting USATF.org.
Registration is currently open, and can be done through Athletic.net. On-time registration must be done by March 12, 2023 at 10:00 p.m. EDT — $10.00/individual event, $40.00 per relay. Age divisions for the 2023 competition year are as follows:
*Note: Per USATF Rule 300.1 (c) “Athletes must be at least seven (7) years of age on December 31 of the current year to compete at the Youth Athletics or Junior Olympic National Championships.” **Athletes who are still 18 through the final day of the USATF National Junior Olympic Indoor Track & Field Championships are eligible to compete in the 17-18 age division through that meet. This extended eligibility does not apply to cross country events. Back to Top
Packet pick-up will be available during the following times and locations:
All competitors must wear their assigned bib numbers on the front of their jersey during competition. If an athlete loses the bib number, a replacement may be purchased for a fee of $10.00. Back to Top

Top six in each individual and relay event earn medals and All-American honors. The winner of each event will also receive a trophy. Each athlete entering the meet will receive a drawstring spike bag and a reusable water bottle. Back to Top

Admission tickets to the USATF National Youth Indoor Championships are available for purchased online only. Single day tickets are $12.00 and a 3-day pass is $27.00 if purchased by the deadline. Spectators will need to have their QR codes available either digital or printed out when arriving at the facility. Athletes with wristbands, children ages 6 or under will be free of charge. A concession stand will be open during the meet selling refreshments throughout the hours of competition. Custom championship t-shirts and Team USATF merchandise will also be available to purchase.
Parking is available at the facility and will be $5 (cash only).
The following are not permitted at Norton Sports & Learning Center:
Any inappropriate or destructive behavior that violate will result in expulsion from the facility with no refund.

The Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center offers a 200-meter hydraulically banked Mondo indoor track that features eight-60 meter lanes (for sprints and hurdles) located within the infield area of the track with dual horizontal runways for pole vault, long jump and triple jump. Additionally, dual high jump approaches can be configured along with dual throwing sectors for shot-put located outside the oval next to the implement/weigh-in station. The venue also boasts four 60-meter indoor warmup lanes in addition to the Humana Outdoor Track that offers additional space for athletes to warm up and cool down. The facility has stadium-style seating for up to 4,100 spectators and a mezzanine level that overlooks the track and is perfect for teams to stretch out between races.
