(revised 2-2021) The USATF Youth Department announces revisions to the USATF Youth Championships Coaches Credentialing Program Policy. This revision is immediately effective. The USATF Youth Department in conjunction with the USATF Coaching Education Department encourages all coaches to take advantage of the benefits the USATF Coaches Registry Program offers. Youth Championships Coaching Credentials shall be issued based upon the following criteria:

Current USATF (adult) Membership
Pass the USATF Background Screening
SafeSport Compliant
Fulfill Education Standard and submit verification application through USATF Connect
Listed as “Coach” on the USATF Club Profile
Must have an athlete or club entered into the current Championship
Coaches for Unattached athletes are required to adhere to the Coaching Credential requirements for the issuance of a coaching credential.
There will be no credential allocation limits. Credentials will be issued only upon verification of all listed criteria/mandates. There will be no exceptions.
Pole Vault access credentials will be provided upon verification of athlete entry and date/time of the event. Date/time will be clearly noted on the credential and access expires immediately upon completion of that event.
All competitors must wear their assigned bib numbers on the front of their jersey during competition. If an athlete loses their bib number, a replacement may be purchased for a fee of $10.00. This packet will not include materials for the National Youth Outdoor Championships. Packet pick-up will be available during the following times and locations:
The 2023 USATF National Youth Combined Events Championships is open to 2023 USATF members who fall within the youth age divisions listed below. Athletes can join USATF by visiting USATF.org. Proof of Birth: Any athletes competing in a USATF age group championship must have their age verified. Age verification must be processed through the USATF membership portal (USATF Connect) by uploading a copy of your birth certificate or passport. Please allow 5 business days for verification to take place. Age divisions for the 2023 competition year are as follows:

Registration is available by visiting Athletic.net and will close on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Top eight in each individual event earn medals. Each athlete entering the meet will receive a drawstring spike bag.
There are no qualifying requirements for the 2023 USATF National Youth Combined Events Championships. Any youth-aged verified member may register and compete in the event.
Results can be found electronically at athletic.net. Results will not be posted in the facility.
A concession stand will be open during the meet.
Throwing implements will be provided by meet management.
There will be a $100.00 fee for all protests. Protests must be submitted to the Protest Referee no later than 30 minutes after a result has been posted. The protest fee will be refunded if the protest is upheld.
