To enter the Championships, you must be a 2023 USATF member. If you have your membership account set for auto renewal, you can only register before January 1, 2023 if you go into USATF Connect and disable the auto renewal. If you do not have auto renewal, or are registering after January 1, 2023, no extra action is needed. Click here to join now! EMBASSY SUITES DESTINY USA - Official hotel for the USATF Masters Championship The USATF host hotel has a free shuttle that will run to/from the Hancock Airport (SYR) from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and then again from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Embassy Suites is conveniently located within a 1/4 mile walk of our shuttle service to the start/finish line! 311 Hiawatha Blvd W, Syracuse, NY 13204 DRIVING DIRECTIONS
There will be a shuttle to and from the race start line on race morning from 6:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The shuttle is located about 300 meters from the hotel front door ACROSS Solar St. in the Destiny USA parking lot. There will be plenty of signs on Solar St. directing you where to go.
Syracuse International airport is located 5 miles from the USATF host hotel and less than 8 miles from the start/finish line.
Go to the basement of the Convention Center. There will be separate bathrooms, a bag check room, and a women's changing room in the vicinity. Please follow signage down the stairs to access these rooms.
There will be no Technical Meeting. Masters athletes and coaches should consult the Technical Instructions which will be posted on the Event website.

Team Check-In Masters Teams should report for uniform check from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. at the packet pick-up location, in the basement of the Convention Center. Only complete teams should report for team uniform check. The whole team should report at the same time. Masters Championship and Open Elite Race Start is 7:45 AM!! Masters Championship runners are welcome in corral #1 on the front line. Overall, Age Division & Team Awards will be based on Gun Time. Age Graded Awards will be based on Net Time. As always, net times are accepted for Masters Age Division American Record purposes.
There is a one-hour protest period once results have been posted on site. The USATF Masters Half Marathon Championships Awards Ceremony will be held in the Oncenter Convention Center adjacent to the start/finish as soon as the one-hour protest period has expired. There will be a post-race gathering at the Oncenter Convention Center after the race.

Championship medals will be awarded to the top 3 places in each 5-year individual division for both Masters Men and Women (40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, etc.), the top 3 Age Graded Masters Men and Women and the top 3 Overall Master Men and Women. All Masters athletes must be citizens of the United States and eligible to represent the United States in international competition to be eligible for team scoring and for USATF medals and prize money. Prize money will be awarded to member USATF Masters runners who have appropriately entered the Championship competition. Non-citizens who are USATF members are welcome to compete but may not score for a team nor win USATF medals and prize money. Non-citizens can qualify for Elite Performance Medals. All prize money will be mailed to clubs or individuals following the race. Elite Performance Medals will be given to all competitors achieving at least 80% age graded in accordance with the USATF tables. You can find a link to a calculator consistent with the 2020 tables here. Gold medals will be given to 90% or better; Silver for 85-89.99%; Bronze for 80-84.99%.
