The first finisher in each age group in each event will receive a gold 2020 USATF Masters Outdoor Track and Field Championships medal. Second and third place will receive a silver and bronze medal respectively. USATF Champions will also receive a championship patch; only one patch will be awarded to an individual athlete no matter how many events s/he wins. According to World Masters Athletics, non-US Citizens are not eligible to displace US-affiliated athletes for awards or to score points in the club competition. Awards may be picked up at the designated tent beside the grandstands on the front stretch; no earlier than one hour of the completion of the event.
Team trophies will be presented to the first place, second place, and third place teams. Scoring is in three categories–men’s, women’s, and combined men and women–with separate trophies in each category. Points are awarded as follows:
Trophy presentations will take place in the infield at the conclusion of the meet.
Your competitor (bib) number must be worn on the front and back during all competitions (except for Field Event athletes who may wear it on the front or back). You may pick up your bib numbers during the packet pickup hours. Back to Top

Packet pick-up will be at Irwin Belk Track, located at the East Entrance to the stadium.
On the outside of your packet there will be a sticker which will show your name, number, age group and events entered. Please check it to make sure it is correct. It will not be possible to correct any mistakes after that time. Back to Top
Protests concerning the result or conduct of an event shall be made to the Referee at once and not later than 30 minutes after the publication of the result of that event. An Appeal of the decision of the Referee must be submitted in writing with the appeal fee of $100.00 to the Masters Games Sub-Committee, located near the athlete check in. The appeal must be filed within 30 minutes of the official publication of the amended result of an event arising from the decision made by a Referee or of the advice being given to those making the protest, where there is no amendment of any result. The appeal fee of $100.00 is nonrefundable unless your appeal is upheld. Back to Top
For appropriate and timely processing of record applications, athletes obtaining a new age division record in an event should be prepared to submit a copy of their birth certificate or passport (driver’s license or similar is not acceptable), if not already submitted to USATF with your entry on file with USATF. Starting heights for the high jump and pole vault competition will be determined by facility equipment limitations and the Masters Track & Field Championships Games Subcommittee. Minimum High Jump height is .732m (2 feet, 4 inches); minimum Pole Vault height is approximately 1.067m (3 feet, 5 inches). Back to Top
Relay entry forms will be available in the packet pickup area. The fee for relay team entries is $40 per team. The deadline for Relay entries will be at 1pm on the day prior to the scheduled day of the relay. Athletes must be entered in the meet to compete on a relay team. Athletes who will only be entered in a relay may register online and select the “Relay Only” event. This will enter the athlete into the meet that they can then register for a relay team at the meet:
If an individual will be joining others to form a team and is not competing in any other events, the process described above still applies. All members of club relay teams must be U.S. affiliated athletes as defined by WMA for the club relay team to score points in the team competition.

The Awards Banquet will be on Saturday July 11 and will be held at the Sheraton Greensboro Four Seasons Hotel, located across the street from the Drury Inn & Suites (Host Hotel), approximately one block from the DoubleTree by Hilton Greensboro (Headquarters Hotel), and 10 minutes from the Hyatt Place Hotel. There will be free shuttle transportation from the DoubleTree and guests at the Drury can walk across the street.
The festivities are scheduled to begin at 6pm with a cocktail reception. Your Banquet Ticket includes two tickets for complimentary beer, wine, or soft drinks. There will be a cash bar for mixed drinks.
The remainder of the evening will include a dinner buffet, live music, and awards presentations.

Don’t forget to visit the 2020 USATF Masters Outdoor Championships merchandise store at the Track in Greensboro during the event! For this year’s event, athletes and family members will have the opportunity to design your own souvenir and have your official event merchandise printed right before your eyes. Choose from a large selection of sportswear items in a variety of sizes, colors along with plenty of unique design options. Styles offered will include: Short Sleeve T-shirts, Long Sleeve T-shirts, Sweatshirts and Performance Apparel.
Spectators will be admitted to the meet free of charge. Irwin Belk Track’s concession stand will be open during the event and sells water, Gatorade and Pepsi products. Additionally, we have limited snacks available. The concession stand will also stock replacement spikes for athletes who do not have the necessary spikes for their shoes. Back to Top
