Steps to Declare for the USA Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championships

You must be a 2012 USATF member to enter the Championships. If you do not have a 2012 membership, please complete a membership application first. You must also be a U.S. citizen, be eligible to represent the U.S. in all levels of international competition and meet the eligibility requirements and qualifying standards.
To check the status of your entry, including declarations, visit the Status of Entries page. Athletes missing required documents (see below) or who need to provide information about their qualifying mark(s) will be listed on the status of entry page as "info needed" until such documents/information are received.
Once properly entered, all athletes must complete the declaration process during the designated time. This process confirms your intention to compete in the Championships. Declaration Form (click the "Declare" tab on the upper right hand corner of the event registration form)
The entry fee for the Championships is $25 per athlete. Late entries incur an additional $50 late fee charge per athlete (Total late entry=$75.00). All fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. Online entries must be paid for by credit card ("Visa, the only card accepted by USATF") or electronic funds transfer ("electronic check").

The Junior classification shall be limited to athletes who are fourteen (14) years or older on the day of competition and will not become twenty (20) years of age at any tme during the year of the competition (2012). Events below that are in bold will be contested at the Championships. Events listed directly below those being contested and which are not in bold, may be used as alternates for qualifying.
