Entry Information

• Online entry is the only method of entry.
• A 2010 USATF membership is required to enter the Championships. Join Today!
• To enter the Championships, you will be required to provide your 2010 USATF membership number and password. Retrieve your password.
• Entries close to the deadlines: Although we will make every reasonable effort, we cannot guarantee responses to requests for passwords. Please do not wait until the last minute to enter!
• Note to club coaches: If an athlete will only be an additional relay alternate (i.e., the athlete is not entered in any individual events and is not entered as one of the four relay team members or two primary alternates), you must submit an individual entry for that athlete. Enter the athlete in the event called "Relay Roster Only"; the cost is $8. This athlete will then be eligible to run on any relay.
• A help line is available for those athletes who need assistance with the entry process. For assistance, call the USATF National Office at 317-713-4678 during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET Monday-Friday.
• After completing your entry online, please fax a copy of your birth certificate, driver�s license, or the information page of your passport with your membership number written on it to the USATF National Office at 800-833-1466.

Entry Status

To check the status of your entry, visit the Status of Entries page (status information is updated hourly). All received entries are shown on the Status of Entries page.

Entry Fees and Deadlines

The entry fees for the Championships are per event. All fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Online entries must be paid for by credit card (USATF only accepts Visa) or electronic funds transfer ("electronic checks").

NOTE: The online entry system will not accept entries after June 24. Please enter on-time!

Other Required Documents

Proof-of-age verification is required for this meet. If your entry is listed as "info needed" on the Status of Entries page or if you are notified during the online entry process, you must submit a proof-of-age document (a copy of your birth certificate or passport) with your membership number written on it. This must be RECEIVED by USATF on or before June 22 as follows:

Athletes will not be considered to be entered in the meet and will not be able to pick up their packets on-site unless their status is listed as "accepted" on the Status of Entries page.

Performance Standards

Events in bold will be contested at the Championships. Events listed directly below those being contested may be used as alternates for qualifying. See Qualifying Guidelines below for full details.

Qualifying Guidelines

1. All qualifying performances for running events must be made on a standard indoor or 400m outdoor track.
2. Qualifying marks must be made and verifiable in a competition with at least five athletes competing in the given event.
3. All qualifying marks must be attained on or after Monday, July 6, 2009 through the meet's entry deadline.
4. Times shown above are Fully Automatic Timing (F.A.T.) times. A manual time may also be used for qualifying. Qualifying manual times are always the F.A.T. qualifying time minus the last zero for events 800m and longer, the F.A.T time minus 0.14 for events 300m-400m, and the F.A.T time minus 0.24 for events 200m and shorter.
5. Times submitted in hundredths of a second must be F.A.T. times. Hand times must be rounded up to the next tenth of a second.
6. Composite scores may be computed for combined events using point scores for the athlete's best performance in each individual event during the qualifying window.
7. Imperial conversions for metric field event marks can be computed using the field event mark conversion calculator.

Eligibility Requirements

• Only U.S. citizens, aliens living in the United States, and foreign exchange students are eligible to compete in these Championships. See the USATF Rules for more information and exceptions.
• The competition will be conducted in five age divisions as follows:

  Bantam	born 2000+
  Midget	born 1998-1999
  Youth	born 1996-1997
  Intermediate	born 1994-1995
  Young Men/Women	born 1992-1993*

  *athletes born in 1991 are also eligible if they do not turn 19 on or before 8/1/2010.
• A competitor must compete in his/her age division only. There will be no "moving up" in any events, including relays. Competitors in the Bantam and Midget divisions may compete in a maximum of three events, including relays. Competitors in the Youth, Intermediate, and Young divisions may compete in a maximum of four events, including relays. Combined events are not included in the event count.
• All athletes must be 2010 members of USATF in good standing. USATF memberships may be purchased online, through your local Association Office, or by calling the USATF National Office at 317-713-4665.
• All clubs must be 2010 USATF member organizations.
• All relay team members must be members of the same club, which must also be registered with the club's local USATF Association for 2010.
