USA Track & Field clubs provide a trusted foundation for athletes, coaches, and organizations to compete, develop, and succeed in track & field, long-distance running, and race walking.
Clubs receive general liability insurance covering registered practices and events, protecting coaches, officials, and volunteers when sessions are filed and supervised properly.
USATF prioritizes athlete safety through its Safe Sport Program as the only youth serving track & field organization under the authority of the U.S. Center for SafeSport.
USATF is the official pipeline to Team USA. As the National Governing Body, club athletes can qualify for international teams through national championships and rankings, with all selections managed under USATF’s established guidelines.
Clubs gain visibility through USATF’s official listings, use of the USATF logo, digital membership certificates, athlete membership reports, and access to association-specific resources.
Enjoy discounts on sanctioned event fees, grant opportunities, and the ability to enter relay teams and manage club practice schedules—all through your USATF club membership.
As long as you hold a current role within a valid USATF member club, you will have access to the Club Portal and its resources.
To get started, simply select the USATF Club Portal button above and sign in using your USATF Connect credentials. Once logged in, you’ll be able to explore the portal and access all available club resources.
ABOUT THE CLUB: LOCATED: BAY AREA, CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION: USATF PACIFIC ASSOCIATION HAS BEEN A USATF MEMBER CLUB SINCE: 2016
Since officially becoming a USATF Member Club in 2016, Joy’s Jackrabbits Masters Team has grown from a small group of friends into a thriving community of more than 50 athletes competing at the regional, national, and international levels. Comprised primarily of athletes ages 30 and older—including competitors in their 70s and beyond—the club brings together sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers, relay athletes, and fitness enthusiasts who share a passion for lifelong athleticism. Guided by their motto, “Good posture, good attitude, be grateful, kind & professional,” the team has built a culture centered on friendship, encouragement, and personal growth both on and off the track.
The club is especially proud of the positive impact its members have had throughout the Masters track & field community. Several athletes serve in leadership and support roles within USATF Masters and World Masters Athletics, helping strengthen opportunities for competitors nationwide. The team also celebrated the recognition of Joy and Tony Echols, who were featured on the official poster for the 2024 World Masters Championships in Sweden. Beyond individual achievements, Joy’s Jackrabbits takes pride in creating an environment where athletes continue to train, compete, mentor, and inspire others well into their 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond.
For Joy’s Jackrabbits, the greatest benefit of being a USATF Member Club is the community. The club values the friendships formed through training sessions, relay teams, national championships, and international competitions. While athletes compete at a high level, the focus remains on supporting one another and celebrating the joy of participation, regardless of age or performance level.
Looking ahead, team members are excited to compete in upcoming USATF Masters National Championships, regional association meets, relay competitions, and future World Masters Championships. They are particularly eager for relay events, which embody the spirit of their club through teamwork, encouragement, and shared success across generations.
