  • Sion has the best non-Ramona mark of 68.75m at the Rabat Diamond League Meeting.

  • Trey Cunningham has the fastest Season’s Best in the field after setting a Personal Best of 12.98 en route to winning the Rome Diamond League Meeting.
  • Reigning World Champion Cordell Tinch looks to improve on his Season’s Best of 13.10.
  • Jamal Britt has been very consistent this season, having tied his Personal Best of 13.07 four times already and winning multiple Diamond League and Continental Tour Meetings.
  • Jamar Marshall is on a 3-race win streak and most recently won the USATF Lone Star Grand Prix in a Personal Best time of 13.04.
Q: Who will win the Women’s 100m Hurdles at the 2026 USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix?
  • Masai Russell has been on another level this season, most recently setting a new NACAC record of 12.14 and is now only 0.02 seconds off the World Record.
  • Nobody else in this field has run within 0.39 seconds of Russell’s 12.14.
  • Grace Stark, Kendra Harrison, and Tonea Marshall have all run sub-12.25 seconds in their careers.
  • Tara Davis-Woodhall is running her second 100m Hurdles race in the last 5 years. She was one of the greatest High School 100m Hurdlers of all-time before deciding to focus on the Long Jump later in her career.
Q: Will the furthest mark in the Women’s Long Jump be farther than or equal to 7.00m (22 feet 11.50 inches) at the 2026 USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix?
  • Reigning Olympic & World Champion Tara Davis-Woodhall is making her season debut in the Long Jump this weekend at the USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix.
    • Last season, Davis-Woodhall eclipsed 7.00m in 6 of her 9 competitions.
  • Lex Brown is the only athlete in this competition that has jumped over 7.00m with legal wind this season.
    • Monae’ Nichols has jumped over 7.00m wind-aided this season.
  • Tokyo Olympic bronze medalist and two-time World Championships medalist Ese Brume is making her season debut at the USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix. She has not jumped over 7.00m since 2022.
Q: Will the official winning time in the Women’s 100m be faster than or equal to 10.95 seconds at the 2026 USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix?
  • 2023 World Champion Sha’Carri Richardson is making her 100m season debut at the USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix.
  • Cambrea Sturgis and Favour Ofili have both run faster than 10.95 this season.
  • Everyone entered in this race has run faster than 10.95 at some point in their careers.
Q: Who will win the Women’s 1500m “A” at the 2026 USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix?
  • Worknesh Mesele comes into this race with the fastest Season’s Best at 3:57.56.
    • Mesele’s highest place finish this season is fourth.
  • Poland’s Klaudia Kazimierska has scratched from this event in favor of the 800m at the USATF Los Angeles Distance Classic.
    • This opens the door for Emily Mackay, who comes into this race with a Season’s Best of 3:58.13 from her last race in which she beat Mesele at the Xiamen Diamond League Meeting.
  • The only other athlete in this field to have run sub-4 minutes this season is Gabija Galvydytė from Lithuania.
  • The prescribed pace for pacer Taryn Parks is 3:56, with the goal of coming through 800m in 2:06.
Q: How many athletes will throw farther than or equal to 22.00 meters (72 feet 2 inches) in the Men’s Shot Put at the 2026 USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix?
  • None of the men entered in this competition threw over 22.00m in their last meet
    • Joe Kovacs was the closest to the 22m barrier in his last meet, throwing 21.87m at the Rome Diamond League Meeting. Kovacs is the current World Leader at 22.58m.
  • Rajindra Campbell, Jordan Geist, and Roger Steen are the only other athletes in this field to have thrown over 22.00m this season.
    • Campbell has only done it once in 2026, while Geist and Steen have not thrown over 22m since February.
Q: Will any athlete run faster than or equal to 1:44.00 in the Men’s 800m “A” at the 2026 USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix?
  • Ko Ochiai is the only man in this field to have run sub-1:44 so far this season, holding a Season’s Best of 1:43.45.
  • Handal Roban, Brandon Miller, and Donavan Brazier are the only other athletes in this race to have run sub-1:44 at any point in their careers.
  • The pacer for this race, Alex Amankwa, is being asked to come through 400m between 49.0 to 49.5 seconds, so we can expect a fast race if they decide to go with the pace.
  • Two-time Olympic medalist and 2023 World 1500m Champion Josh Kerr set a Personal Best of 1:44.60 in his last race and will most likely have to run faster to take down this field.
Q: Who will win the Men’s 400m at the 2026 USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix?
  • Unfortunately, Jacory Patterson, Bayapo Ndori, Rai Benjamin, and Michael Norman have all scratched from this race.
    • This means that picking “Any Other Athlete” as your answer here will cover 7 of the 8 lanes! These athletes include 2012 Olympic Champion Kirani James and 2023 USATF Champion Bryce Deadmon.
  • Chris Bailey will come into this race with the fastest Season’s Best at 44.35 and should be considered the favorite to win after taking down a solid field at the USATF Lone Star Grand Prix last weekend.
Tiebreaker Q: To the nearest hundredth of a second (e.g., 9.58, 10.49, etc.), what will the official winning time be in the Men’s 100m at the 2026 USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix?
  • Due to the nature of this venue, there is a possibility that this race will be run into a slight headwind. With the level of talent in this field, I would still expect a 9.9 second performance to win this race at minimum. Kenny Bednarek, Letsile Tebogo, and Sam Blaskowski in particular have all shown at some point this season that they are in 9.8 shape under the right conditions.

You can follow this event by tuning in to NBC and Peacock on Sunday, June 14th from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. EDT.
