Trey Hardee is the son of Jim Hardee and Jan DiCesare. He has one sister named Eden. In college, Hardee originally attended Mississippi State, but he transferred to the University of Texas when Mississippi State cut their indoor track program. Hardee created the Trey Hardee Charity Golf Tournament, which raises money for local charities in the Alabama area.
