Oklahoma University head track & field/cross country coach James Thomas will serve as the head coach for the World Indoor Championships in Kujawy Pomorze, Poland. He will also be responsible for jumps and multis. Thomas served as a team coach at the 2022 World Indoor Championships for USATF. Darryl Woodson, the USATF relay coach, guided Team USATF to three gold medals and one silver at the 2025 World Championships in Tokyo. He will lead the relays in Kujawy Pomorze.
World and Olympic Champion Carmelita Jeter will serve as the head coach for Team USATF at the World U20 Championships which will be held in Eugene, OR. Jeter, the third fastest American in history in the 100m, will also serve as the sprints and hurdles coach. Jeter is the head coach of track and field/cross country at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
