Full Athlete Fields Announced for LA Grand Prix
LOS ANGELES – Full start lists for the 2026 LA Grand Prix have been released ahead of one of the premier stops on the World Athletics Continental Tour Gold circuit. The two-day meet will take place June 13-14 at the University of Southern California and features an international field loaded with Olympic and World Championship medalists. As previously announced, the LA Grand Prix will showcase 18 Olympic or World champions, multiple Paralympic medalists, and a host of emerging stars who could return to Los Angeles for the 2028 Olympic Games. Start lists as of June 10 can be found here. A complete schedule of events is available

Competition begins Saturday afternoon 12:00 p.m. PT with the women's hammer which will be held at the South Bay Athletic Club in Long Beach and features the entire podium from the 2025 World Athletics Championships;

(CHN). It picks back up in the evening with the LA Distance Classic at Allyson Felix Field at Katherine B. Loker Track Stadium starting at 7:00 p.m. The session features races from the 800m through the 5,000m, along with Para athletics events in the 100m, 400m, and 1,500m. Americans

Sunday's action begins at 12:30 p.m. with the women’s shot put and discus featuring world champions

(USA) in their respective events before live NBC coverage begins at 1 p.m. One of the first marquee events on the broadcast schedule is the women's 100m hurdles, where reigning Olympic champion
Masai Russell
(USA) is slated to compete. Also entered is reigning Olympic and World long jump champion
Tara Davis-Woodhall
(USA), who is scheduled to contest the 100m hurdles. She will also compete in the event she has dominated on a global scale, the long jump.
The broadcast concludes at 3 p.m. with a highly anticipated women's 400m hurdles featuring the homecoming of two legendary USC Trojans. Olympic silver medalist
Anna Cockrell
(USA), the 2019 NCAA champion in the 400m hurdles for USC, is entered in the race. She will face 2016 Olympic gold medalist and 2020 Olympic silver medalist
Dalilah Muhammad
(USA), a four-time All-American at USC.
Gianna Woodruff
(PAN), the Panamanian record-holder who competed at USC in her final year of eligibility, will join them on the start line. Other USC alumni competing in the meet include

Johnny Brakins
(USA) (110mH). USC legend and Olympic champion Rai Benjamin has withdrawn from the men's 400m hurdles. His fellow Trojan alumn Michael Norman has withdrawn from the 400m.
The 2026 Los Angeles Grand Prix will be broadcast live on USATF.tv Saturday, June 13 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. PT and on NBC Sunday, June 14 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. PT.
