Team USATF has reached the halfway point of the World Athletics Masters Indoor Championships in Gainesville. Masters stars continue to earn medals and set records in shining fashion. The team medal count now stands at 82 gold, 98 silver and 91 bronze. In addition to the medal count climbing, more records fell on day five. Myrle Mensey set a new WMA and American record in the W75 weight throw with a distance of 16.82m. Neringa Jakstiene set a new WMA and American record in the W60 long jump with a leap of 4.77m. Flo Meiler set a new American record in the W90 long jump with a distance of 1.87m with Christel Donley also exceeding the American record with 1.78m. DAY FIVE MEDALS
