Day six of the World Masters Athletics Indoor Championships brought even more success for Team USATF as athletes continued to deliver outstanding performances.
Christel Donley W90 set a new WMA record in the high jump with a height of .89m. American records were broken by Kristin Terpening W65 in the shot put (3kg) at 9.46m, Neringa Jakstiene W60 in the high jump at 1.46m, Breanna Sanner W35 in the triple jump with a mark of 12.10m, Shawn Lawson W60 in the shot put (3kg) at 12.17m and Carol Finsrud W65 in the shot put (3kg) at 10.02m.
Day seven of the World Masters Athletics Indoor Championships brought another day of thrilling performances from Team USATF. Athletes continued to push their limits, delivering outstanding results and setting new records on the international stage.
The day featured more historic achievements. Sabra Harvey set a new American record in the W75 1500 with a remarkable time of 6:25.30. Florence Meiler added to the excitement by breaking the American record in the W90 pole vault, reaching 1.37m. Michelle Rohl set a new American record in the W55 1500 with an impressive time of 4:50.34. Inocencio Cantu secured a new American record in the M90 1500 with a time of 9:26.51. Daniel King also broke records in the M65 1500, finishing in 4:48.22. Meanwhile, Carol Frost set a new American record in the W80 shot put (2kg) with a throw of 9.10m.
As the competition nears its conclusion, Team USATF Masters remains relentless in its pursuit of excellence. We look forward to even more inspiring moments in the final days of the championships.
