INDIANAPOLIS -- Winning the women's long jump at the 20th World Athletics Indoor Championships, Claire Bryant (Gainesville, FL/USATF Florida) earned recognition as the 11th USATF Athlete of the Week award winner for 2025.
Bryant had the best competition of her career in her international senior debut, dominating the long jump at the Nanjing (China) Sports Training Center and coming away with the gold with a 6.96/22-10 leap that moved her to No. 7 on the all-time U.S. indoor performer list. The Florida grad improved her lifetime best by more than three inches to win the title.

Chris Bailey won the men's 400 at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in 45.08 and anchored the U.S. 4x400 to victory with a 44.84 split.
Grant Holloway won his third straight World Athletics Indoor Championships gold in the men's 60 hurdles in 7.42, taking his 79th straight victory in heats and finals since 2015.
Josh Hoey won the men's 800 at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in 1:44.77, the ninth-fastest indoor time ever by an American.
