INDIANAPOLIS — Pulling off a rare double with a world-leading time in the 400m hurdles, Britton Wilson (Fayetteville, Arkansas) earned recognition as the 19th USATF Athlete of the Week award winner for 2022. Wilson, a sophomore at Arkansas, won the women’s 400m in a U.S.-leading 50.05 and then doubled back to take the 400m hurdles in a world-leading 53.75 at the Southeastern Conference Championships in Oxford, Mississippi. Wilson capped off the meet with a 48.60 anchor leg on the Razorbacks’ 4x400m relay, the ninth-fastest split in American history. Her 400m hurdles time moved her to No. 6 on the all-time collegiate performer list, and her 400m effort puts her at No. 7 on that list. Other top performances from last week:
