What Is RunJumpThrow?
RunJumpThrow (RJT)
is a hands-on learning program that gets kids excited about physical activity by introducing them to the basic running, jumping andthrowing skills through track and field. Created by USA Track & Field in partnership with The Hershey Company, RJT has reached over 800,000 kids since 2015.
RunJumpThrow offers free curriculums (one day and six weeks) for educators and community organizers that can be adapted to any group. The RJT plan provides a selection of twenty learning stations for organizers to choose from, including dynamic warm-up, running form and technique, standing broad jump, softball throw and one-legged hop.
USATF also provides organizer insurance and marketing materials. Whether you use RunJumpThrow as a template for a field day or built into your physical education curriculum, there’s something for you.
