Running achievement I am most proud of: Competitive longevity in racing and mountain pursuits.

Why I run: I run for the challenge, for relaxation, for collecting my thoughts, for privacy, for preparation, for socializing and for dj vu!

Future Goals: Climb more of the highest peaks in western U.S. (need Rainier, Hood, & Denali). Set age-group records and remain competitive as a masters athlete. Inspire and lead a strong WMRT junior team to New Zealand (as team manager). Compete in some mountain/trails races I have not done before.

Additional comments/thoughts: Im happy to see the increasing interest in trail and mountain racing and resulting specific equipment development to support the growing sport that I first participated in the late 70's in Utah.
