Personal

Michelle Carter is the daughter of Michael and Sandra Carter. She has one brother, Michael Jr., and one sister, D’andrea.While representing Team USA,  Carter’s father Mike won the men’s shot put silver medal in the 1984 Olympic Games.
 
Carter is the founder of You Throw Girl! Sports Confidence Camp, a sports camp that focuses on confidence building and empowerment through athletics for female athletes.
