Kimberlyn Duncan is the daughter of Antonne Jr. and Schrylean Duncan. She has one younger sister named Kiersten, who also sprinted for LSU. Duncan graduated from LSU with a degree in sport administration with an emphasis in sports commerce. In 2011, she was a finalist for the Bowerman Award, and in 2012, she received the Bowerman Award. Duncan was the 2012 and 2013 recipient of the Honda Sports Award for Track and Field. She was the first woman in NCAA history to win back-to-back national titles both indoors and outdoors in the 200m.
